EVENTS WINS DEVELOPMENT OF "CRICKET WORLD CUP 2007


Present in 2006 on the World Cup, at the 6 Nations Tournament and at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, GL events once again confirms its competence in the management of sports events through its participation in the World Cup. 2007 Cricket World in Jamaica: "ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007".
The Cricket World Cup: a major sporting event
The Cricket World Cup will be hosted from March to April 2007 in 9 Caribbean countries: the opening ceremony will take place on March 11, 2007 in Jamaica and the Finale on April 28, 2007 in Barbados. A total of 16 teams will compete (Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Pakistan,South Africa, West Indies, England, India Zimbabwe, Kenya, Bangladesh, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Bermuda, Holland).

The GL events teams, as "Official and primary & exclusive supplier for Overlay services", will be progressively on site from September 2006.

AIDS awareness events continue at Cricket World Cup
